oh yeah talk about alcohol......drank shandy every day becoz i tot it was cheap....so i thought..RM1.20 for a can.......groan..i came back to KL and saw RM 1.19 a can in carrefour !! wat is this? anyway...i so good gurl nvr drink hard liquor...*evil grin* though i like whisky n sprite! freaked me out when the customs guy checked the bags...he didnt trust that we didnt bring back cigarettes and alcohol coz well..my family had many many bags...psst : i had a bottle of vodka in the bag...and ur not supposed to buy duty free stuff if u stayed less than 72 hrs on the island..or thats the rule la.. so i guess tats all in my trip...oh yeah..one recommendation.stop at the TAPAH rest house along the NsOUTH highway..its ultra spacious and modern complete with dunkin donuts and baskin robbins..the toilet like a garden sumore..so if u want to stop ..stop there !! the only downside was ..my sisters kept fighting in the car

howdy....exams are over...thank God...but holidays havent really sunk in yet cos there seems a lot to do actually..just came back frm Langkawi ...it was a tiring trip...sort of like zoomed frm one place to another like typical Asian tourists...

well, lets see wats there to do in langkawi? u have those boring monuments like the eagle monument, makam mahsuri (princess resting place), hot springs, cable car, underwater world (definitely recommend ), bird park, padi field museum, craft museum, island hopping, blabla...and oh..the 7 wells (telaga tujuh). 7 wells is definitely misleading as it meant a group of waterfalls. Mind u only the fit can see all of 'em as the steps up the mountain are nvr ending...me..i only saw 1 or 2 so called "wells" talk about healthy living =Pp Did u know that KUAH the main town of langkawi...has a legend behind it? Apparently, some kuah frm heaven or genie or somewhere spilled onto the sea..and formed the many islands of langkawi ..well...langkawi is fmaous for DUTY FREE...so no import tax on cigarettes and alcohol..
